CASE STUDY: BRANCH + BRICK

Branch+Brick wasn’t just another short-term rental brand—it was a vision for something warmer, more intentional, and more lasting. The founders, a husband-and-wife duo, imagined a portfolio of homes that offered more than just a place to stay. They dreamed of creating a collection of curated getaways that felt like an extension of their own family values: comfort, elegance, and meaningful connection.

To bring this idea to life, they partnered with Good Monday Creative for full-service brand development, including visual identity, web design, storytelling, content production, and strategic marketing.

Naming & Brand Identity: Softness Meets Strength

The name Branch+Brick emerged as the heart of the brand story. It symbolized the collaboration of two forces—creativity and structure, emotion and stability, softness and security. It also reflected the relationship at the core of the business: a partnership between two people building something enduring together.

We carried this symbolism throughout the brand identity, from the elegant wordmark to the earth-toned palette and editorial photography style, reinforcing the idea that every Branch+Brick home was a place where memories could take root.

A Seamless Booking Experience

Our next step was designing a custom Squarespace website that combined style with function. The homes—located in Los Angeles and Joshua Tree—needed to shine, but so did the guest experience.

The site features:

  • ✦ Seamless booking integration
    ✦ Full-screen property galleries
✦ Story-driven copy that emphasizes warmth and intentionality
✦ Mobile-optimized layouts for a frictionless travel experience

The end result? A website that feels just like the homes: beautiful, easy, and welcoming.

Content That Captures a Feeling

To anchor the brand visually, Good Monday flew to Los Angeles to produce a two-day content shoot capturing both lifestyle and architectural moments. We coordinated everything from location styling to shot lists to talent, delivering:

  • ✦ Website imagery
    ✦ Instagram-ready Reels
    ✦ Brand campaign photography

This visual toolkit gave Branch+Brick everything they needed to communicate their identity with cohesion and confidence across digital platforms.

Strategic Partnerships: Beauty Meets Budget

One of the most impactful outcomes of this project was our ability to secure a major brand partnership with BOXI by Semihandmade, a modern cabinet company known for high-quality, design-forward kitchen and bath solutions.

By aligning Branch+Brick’s design-forward rental vision with BOXI’s desire for on-location product placement, we negotiated a partnership that saved tens of thousands of dollars on cabinetry while adding premium design value to the homes. The collaboration included:

  • ✦ Custom kitchen cabinetry for multiple properties
    ✦ Co-branded marketing opportunities
✦ Additional social media reach through BOXI’s channels

This partnership not only elevated the spaces—it validated the brand.

A Brand Built to Last

Branch+Brick launched with everything it needed: a story that resonates, a digital home that converts, content that inspires, and partnerships that deliver tangible value. Since launch, the brand has been positioned not just as a boutique rental provider, but as a thoughtful lifestyle brand rooted in family, design, and experience.

And that’s what we do at Good Monday Creative—we build brands that are built to last.ll begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
